Eco Villages has based the design on reducing the energy used to occupy the building. Each component of our buildings is evaluated for performance in regard to strength, recyclability, maintenance and energy use. Our design integrates existing leading edge components and allows for their installation with a trained team of skilled and unskilled labour.

 In this new carbon economy the life cycle cost of the building is a major factor in regard to the energy used and the ever increasing cost of that energy. The integration of renewable energy production via solar photovoltaic panels and/or wind turbines play a vital role in making the base operation of the accommodation carbon neutral.

Flexible Floor Plans

EVW has the ability to provide accommodation solutions for a wide variety of needs through the provision of a flexible interior. Moveable, acoustic wall panels allow for numerous layouts. Our homes can have single or multiple occupants with the utmost privacy between rooms.

Eco Villages Worldwide standard two double bedroom configurations can provide family accommodation.

Internal non-load bearing walls can be adapted to accommodate four workers in a four single bedroom layout with a central communal area.

This floor plan can be further altered to provide for office administration needs or an open plan space for school rooms or community areas.
