The ultimate goal of the research, design and integration is to supply a building that is close to carbon neutral as possible.  We measure the performance of buildings in regard to the overall energy use in the same way as a modern car is assessed on the amount of fossil fuels it consumes.  Our goal is to produce carbon neutral buildings that require very little maintenance.
